The books contains three comedies. In the first, "Genethliacon in London" we see Max and Brenda, who share their love with George; for Max's birthday Brenda organizes a big party in Max's parents house but something goes wrong. The second comedy is set in New York and we have Papa John Brook, called PJ, who is a director of a Drama School. His students don't believe history is important for an actor to be. So he writes a Final Essay entitled "Little Verona" to show them the importance of past. The drama will also show that love is the most important thing in the world. The last comedy is set somewhere in the space-time, where the Latin poet Virgil and the Italian poet Dante meet again, after almost seven hundred years, for starting a new journey on the universe of human vices and virtues. Virgil will lead Dante Alighieri, as a guide, across the space-time, through as many different levels of the human vices, as many centuries have passed by from their first journey. They will travel together through the hell of desperation up to the hope of repentance of purgatory. At the third level Dante eventually meets Beatrice who will lead him to the true love shore of Paradise.
