The Archangel Gabriel has been murdered on the footsteps of God's heavenly temple. Jehovah summons the detective sisters Mili and Mardie Wickett to heaven to find the guilty party. They follows a trail of violence and betrayal in their search for Gabriel's assassin, one that inevitably leads to the guilty party. Was it another angel? Or a saint dwelling inside the Pearly Gates? Or did someone, divine or demon, penetrate heaven in search of the doomed Archangel? Using local intelligence Mili and Mardie pair up with helpful parties in heaven to successfully track down the surprise killer.
