Kimber Cassidy, a brilliant and beautiful young woman has just cracked her first case. But it in no way prepares her for the unexplainable. When a grisly murder is discovered, similar to those done by a serial killer that gripped the Midwestern town of East Alton over ten years ago, Kimber has to grapple with two deadly scenarios. Either this is a copycat or the town's only serial killer is back under impossible odds. The victim, Micheal Sullivan, is the father of her old high school friend, Chrissy, who implores Kimber to look into her father's murder and bring the killer to justice. Now, the facts are adding up and time is running out. As suspect after suspect is crossed off the list, Kimber has to face the unfathomable. Is the killer really someone that she cares deeply about or is there something even more sinister in the air?
