Daniel is a third generation hitmen. He, like his father and grandfather before him, live by the code, kill only those that are truly evil. Besides his family, no one knows that Daniel is really "The Ghost" one of the most feared hitman on the planet. That includes his wife Victoria, who believes he is a financial advisor. When The Ghost is offered an obscene amount of money to kill a Bahrain Crown Prince who is aiding terrorists in the Middle East, Daniel decides this will be his last job. After this he will retire and live a normal life with Victoria. That was his plan. The government has a plan of its own. In spite of an attempt to double cross him, The Ghost manages to escape. He tells his government contact that he is officially retired, and if they don't want it to leak out who was behind the killing, he expects his money to be wired to his Swiss bank account. Back in Washington, the State Department decides The Ghost is a liability and needs to be silenced. Things don't go as planned. The man they hire to eliminate the Ghost, kills Victoria. Now it's The Ghost who is on the hunt. All those that had any hand in his wife's death will be put to the sword no matter how high up in the White House. The only wrinkle in his plan is that Victoria's sister Carolyn, like him, has a past that will complicate his life in ways he never could have imagined.
