Authors notesThis novelette has been created from the characters in the sci-fi fantasy novel Popperpen, and is just one of a series of short fiction stories from this book. These exerts have been reconstructed into smaller pieces of work and can be read in any order. The author is presently writing more short works in this series. Synopsis Not knowing what horror awaited him next, Professor Holden Popperpen reluctantly climbs the staircase with its gargoyle encrusted balustrade. The boisterous thing that had been relentlessly jumping around on the above floor had caused him constant concern; and especially now that it had to be fed.
