One C Flute could play with one Bb Clarinet or any other preferred combination, or any numbers of players could be assigned to the duet parts to create flexibly-paired small ensembles. These duets work well with high school-level bands, especially those groups with imbalanced or incomplete like-instrumentation and with adult church ensembles. Many of the duets could be prepared by students independently empowering them to showcase their skills during programs, or they also will provide engaging reading under the tutelage of a private teacher in a studio setting.
