Having grown up on the wrong side of town, Hunter Macadam knows a thing or two about hardships. After escaping the town and all the bad memories Hunter returns years later to gain the respect of the locals. His mission: to show the good folks of Nottingham that he isn't a loser after all. However his plans are changed when he bumps into Leona, one of the only people who had shown him respect even when he had nothing. Hunter must decide if his wealth is more important than love. Leona, the local baker has problems of her own. From owning and running a successful bakery to taking care of her rebellious teenage brother, she doesn't have time for anymore complications. But however she might try to ignore her feelings for Hunter, fate seems to have other plans for the two people who must learn to trust and believe in their friendship and love. Hunter has to let go of the past if he ever hopes to have a future with Leona. But every relationship has it's challenges and Hunter and Leona must face the person from Hunter's past who will not give up so easily.
