Yes Means Yes!: A Picture Book About Consent Elaine Tai

This Kickstarter-funded picture book about consent presents various scenarios in which kids (and even adults) might feel uncomfortable, and addressing how to express and respect those boundaries and concerns. In thinking about how we teach or learn about ways we grant access to our own bodies and others', this book stems from the author's experiences as a librarian, as well as in her own experiences growing up and in witnessing how we discuss bodily autonomy out in the world.

With sweet illustrations by Kai Kwong, the book aims to present empathetic and positive ways to instill understanding of how we respect each others' comfort zones.
