Shortly after the Covid-19 virus became part of the world's lexicon, it appeared as if the news media was trying to create a worldwide panic around the virus. If this had been Ebola, or typhoid or the bubonic plague, they wouldn't need to try to scare us; everyone would know that it was serious. Why was the news media trying to incite a panic? Most people just chalk it up to a highly-partisan and irresponsible new media and they are probably correct. But, what if it wasn't. What if there was something sinister, more malevolent in play? There are many conspiracy theories out there and once you start down one of these rabbit holes, it may be difficult to discern fact from fiction.
This is a fictitious story that attempts to explain the Covid tale. A modern day Game of Thrones, if you will, replete with treachery, deceit, espionage, betrayal and murder. As many people around the world watched that television series, most of them didn't realize that many of the most horrific aspects of that series, were based in fact.
This is not a story of what did happen or what will happen; it's a story of what might have happened. There are dozens of conspiracy theories and this is one of them. So, fasten your tin-foil hats on and head down this rabbit hole.
This is a story of political intrigue, deception, and criminality. The characters are fictious but many of them will seem eerily familiar. The first chapter is in the current time and the rest of the chapters are presented as a series of flashbacks. They do not represent or even attempt to represent, everything that occurred in the course of this vast story. Many real-world events and occurrences are revealed. Each of the chapters simply provides a glimpse in time to events that may have occurred. The reader is encouraged to fill in the blanks. It is not a narrative of events that actually occurred nor is it intended as a prediction of the future. It is a story of what might have happened.
