Do giraffes get hiccups?

Education guru, writer and humanist Jack Shallcrass reviewed fifty years of the New Zealand School Journals. In his assessment of the poetry section he singled out Do Rabbits Get The Stitch?:
"The poems, though they are chosen for their local, contemporary flavour, also have universal and traditional qualities. Above all, they have sparkle and fun. A good example is "Do Rabbits Get The Stitch?" by Christine Hunt Daniell."
