Keep Your Candle Lit Karen Bode

Matthew 5:14-16 You are a light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead, they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven Even when the storm comes in full force, and it is very, very dark, and there is no source to light your candle, you are still an ambassador of Christ. How do you light your candle when you are totally empty of all your strength, numb and hurting? "How, Lord, how?" you cry out! The Eternal Light is your source, Jesus is your source. Cry out and ask the Holy Spirit to fill you with his Power, Love and Sound Mind. (2Tim. 1:7) "Are you ready, with your candle lit, to bring home those you love? We are called, not only to cleanse ourselves, but to bring the "Good News" to all the nations. Our families are the hardest and most difficult challenge of all. Does your love have a limit?"
