"Mama's Flying Boots" is about a mother with unique abilities, because of her special flying boots. Her one-of-a kind boots enable her to instantly appear wherever she is needed. Regardless of the situation, her family can count on her and her flying boots to come to the rescue and save the day! Kim Gatewood was inspired to write "Mama's Flying Boots" to honor her mother, who demonstrated extraordinary tenacity and persistence, after being left partially disabled in a near fatal car accident. As the youngest of seven children, Kim never forgot how her mother made every day an adventure. Kim is a mother and grandmother of four. She has a B. S. in Chemistry and Electrical Engineering and is a retired military veteran. She serves as the Executive Pastor and Chief of Staff at Bethesda Fellowship Ministries. Kim is also the the author of "Mama's Hats."
