Octopus Egg is a story about a baby octopus waiting to be born. The baby octopus tells readers the experience of being in the egg, hatching, and meeting mom for the first time. As a former daycare teacher, I saw a need for fun and easy-to-read books for the children that would keep their interest and their family's interest too. Education and fun can come together and that is my hope for my books. I am inspired every day by my niece and nephew and by viewing the world through their eyes. I have a playful cat named Goliath that I am also inspired by. I live by a small rhyme my mother always told me and my sister, "When I job has begun, never stop until it's done. Be the job big or small, do it well or not at all."
