The year 2020 is the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment to the United States Constitution giving women the right to vote. This story book is targeted to grade school girls so they can know, learn and appreciate the history of the fight for "woman suffrage". When little Harriet learns her mother can't vote for Mr. Lincoln she can't understand it and she never accepted it. She became a suffragist and eventually, near the end of her life, voted in a presidential election in November of 1920.
