This book was inspired by experiences shared with me by my brother, who is a retired police officer, other police officers, and friends when I worked as the receptionist to a police commissioner for several years. Bob, who is the main character in this book is a police officer who represents many peoples lives. It tells about his life and the challenges he faces and overcomes. Everything changes for the better when Lori comes into his life. Many times the news media puts out news about the officers that have done wrong, but they do not represent the over 900,000 officers in the United States that risk their lives daily for all of us. They are good citizens that love their families and are an asset to their communities. Bob will touch your heart and make you cry one minute and laugh the next.
