To do this, he needs the approval of Christine, his program director, and Julie, the head of the cable news station. As the night progresses, each character confronts their fears and failures, while wondering what the future will look like. Miss Julie 2020 addresses the new complications of workplace romance, the controversial tactics used by news organizations to get attention, and the precarious balance of our public and private lives. Reagan creates a play where each character is neither hero nor villain, and the complexity of gray areas is fully explored.
