The biggest lies are not the ones we tell to each other in relationships. Nor are they they ones we tell to our children. The biggest lies are the ones being told to us about how safe we are in the world in which we live. Nowhere exists such a place where we can travel freely without fear of being killed. Nowhere exists a place where our children are completely safe from harm. Gunshots are flying through churches, schools and even our own homes on an almost daily basis. The unfortunate truth is that the person sitting next to you on the bus, may be the one whose only mission for the day is to make sure that you do not make it home. The Safety Concept was created to help individuals become and stay aware of hazards both in and out of the home, which may jeopardize their lives and the lives of their families.
