The Qing Dynasty (??, 1636-1912) was the last feudal dynasty in Chinese history. The Manchurian dynasty, with 12 emperors, ruled China for about 276 years. The Manchus maintained the capital at Beijing (Romanized as Peking). During the early years of Qing Dynasty, China's traditional society achieved unprecedented development achievements.
