Muller & Gutierrez: Working Women is a buddy/cop team of homicide detectives featuring two females, Paula Mueller-the mature lead detective-and Sara Gutierrez-the feisty rookie Mueller mentors. Vengeance is Murder - is a story about two female detectives who after a few dead ends, discover a serial killer or vigilante is behind a spike in male homicides. The killer(s) have targeted men who are domestic violence abusers. Given the political pressure caused by the visibility of the case, the detectives have to figure out who the killer is, before they are taken off the case for taking too long to produce meaningful results. What happens when you have strong, smart and sexy women as both heroes and villains in the sam story? Carnival Time - The carnival as a front for sex trafficking is ideal, because many carnivals do not run a background check on their employees, even though the workers have lots of interactions with children. So those with convictions for sexual molestation, rape, or being registered sex offenders could be working at the carnival. Working at a carnival as a carney doesn't pay much, so there is incentive to do things to make extra money such as sell drugs, or get involved in human trafficking.
