She takes a ride in a paper cup tied to a balloon over the city and into the country where she has scary encounters with an airplane, a bird, fish, and a frog before finding her way safely home to the neighborhood cat and her family. Marigold's Adventure: A Mouse Tale educates and entertains children by turning the passive activity of reading into active participation. Designed to capture the child's attention while listening to the story, the book uses bold, vibrant colors, patterns, and extreme detail. The words have been carefully chosen with an emphasis on vocabulary building, using a variety of fun synonyms. All the drawings are hand drawn and painted, not computer-generated with felt tip pens as the medium.
