This is the story of two friends, Martin and Ella. They are birds that live in New York City. One day, as they were playing, it began to rain. It rained so hard that they could not see or find their way home. Martin and Ella entered the NYC subway system to get out of the rain. This began their journey of riding the subway train to many different locations and doing various activities on a rainy day in the city of New York.
