From trekking over fifteen kilometers and sometimes across enemy territory as a young girl to support her family during the Biafran civil war in Nigeria to being the first female of Nigerian origin to be made double Mayor of Enfield in England, UK. Who could have predicted this?

This book tells the story of a woman of indomitable spirit whose faith in God coupled with her upbringing made her one of the highly respected people in the UK. She moved to England to join her husband and soon qualified as a nurse and midwife, while raising her family. She served the National Health Service (NHS) for forty years. As a young widow she made sure that the four children she was left to support never wanted. As if that was not enough, she pursued her passion for Law and qualified as a Lawyer.

Even though she had always been involved in the community as a midwife, her Law degree enabled her to serve her community at a different level. She became a Councillor, then Deputy Mayor and Mayor of Enfield. She is currently serving as a Mayor for the second time for 2019-2020.
