Lily, and Landor, the two main characters, are two creatures from very different backgrounds, but both learn and teach each other of God's great love, and delving into the mysteries it reveals. As Lily and Landor develop in this new way of life they experience many triumphs and failures as they grow to know Love's (God's) will and purpose for them.
