In my adolescent years, I loved to play baseball. I loved to play basketball and football. I used to hang out with my friends all the time. As time passed, I was hired at a grocery store and worked my way up the ladder receiving a coveted promotion. Next came a job at a service station where I was able to do some of my homework because I had decided to further my education by attending college. After I served a two-year LDS mission, I returned to the U of U where I continued my education. Girls came into the picture, and so did a new car as well as a new job, and I had to pay for my car to be maintained. Plus I was still single, and had to pay for my dates.

I loved life. In fact, I still do. I love my family and friends. But in a split second, my life changed forever. What happened to me could have just as easily happened to anyone. However, I'm glad it happened to me and not you! My family had their lives turned upside down, as well. My parents received the news that I had been in an accident . . .
