Wendy and Tat is about a coming-of-age story about a girl and her pet horse. She's about to turn eighteen. In many ways, she's still a child, but circumstances beyond her control make her grow up fast. She goes on a journey and faces many obstacles along the way. She meets many different people who affect her in many ways. She uses her skills as a horse rider to make her living. She meets up with a trainer of racehorses. He is dealing with overcoming his own run of tough luck. They get together for the exciting big race.
