Stefanie was born, raised, and continues to reside in Northwest Iowa. Stefanie had a desire to be an educator since the first grade. She went on to earn her bachelor's degree in elementary education with endorsements in special education and reading, from Northwestern College. Stefanie spent a few years teaching in the public school system and now homeschools her four children. Along with writing children's books, Stefanie and her husband Luke, have a YouTube channel focused on assisting parents on their homeschool journey.
