A whimsical tale, portraying the adventure of eight young Dimplekins as they follow the Path of Light. Along the way they experience many important lessons and meet wonderful and helpful friends. Finding themselves in a strange land known as the Shadowlands, Sir Sagar, a wise black panther, leads the young ones through numerous dangers and pitfalls toward enchanting Chara Shalom. While occasionally interacting along the way, El Elyon, the Lion, Arion the Lamb, and Gloriah the Presence eaglerly await their ultimate arrival. Biblically based, the values and principles featured in this spiritual journey are universal, designed to speak to the hearts of young and old alike. Colorful illustrations enhance the magical tone of the story.
First-time author, Joyce Tichenor, set out on a writing adventure of her own. Though born and raised in Missoula, Montana, she has resided near Kansas City, Missouri for the last 30 years. Finding joy in both the written word and time spent painting, she felt inspired to create a legacy for her grandchildren. In writing and illustrating this first book, she made them her main characters, depicting lessons learned from her own spiritual journey.
