This novel is a Christian thriller set in Crescent City, CA, a city beset with economic and tsunami problems. The main character, Tricia Noyes, is a young mother that is trying to survive and to raise two young children while her husband is incarcerated in the Pelican Bay California state prison located there. Dealing with the normal issues of life as well as one particular guard at the prison, God asks Tricia to put her trust in him. Tricia finds this to be a lesson that is hard to learn and needs to be repeated often. God, however, in his goodness uses many avenues to sustain her through the circumstances she finds herself in. This novel will keep you captivated and turning the pages until the surprise ending, which will leave you content and satisfied.
