Contributor Bio:  Downs, Anni Anni Downs has been designing patterns and books under the Hatched and Patched label for almost 20 years, and there's still nothing she'd like to do more! Her work has a distinct vintage country flavor with a touch of whimsy. She loves to combine stitchery and applique with simple machine piecing to create quilts, table runners, bags, and many other bits and pieces. Anni lives in Bathurst, Australia, with her husband, Pete, and two children. When she's not designing, she spends as much time as possible working away in her shop, which is filled with an array of inspiration at the ready!
