My mind wandered for a moment as I thought about pallbearers on John Deere tractors and women pallbearers in the same month. I stood next to the mahogany casket and thought about the many blessings God had sent into my life. God's special people, "peculiar people". Was the Lizardman, a creature, monster, hero or just another one of God's many peculiar people? Annabel with her women only pallbearers, "The men of the church didn't take me out living - They are not carrying me out dead!" Young men that overcame huge obstacles to become powerful ministers for the Lord. People that lovingly accepted God's children regardless of our differences. God's Word describes us as HIS "peculiar people". Most people misunderstand, because they think peculiar is only defined as - strange, odd, or unusual but another definition is - belonging exclusively to. Yes, we belong exclusively to a loving God.
