Hello, My Name Is Michael R Parker

These are stories that we heard every week in Sunday school. Stories we saw displayed on flannel boards and illustrated in our children's Bible. For many of us, these are stories that were the initial foundation of our faith. These are stories filled with giants, lions and blazing infernos! They showcase the super strong, super brave and super loyal! There is a fish that swallows a man, followed shortly thereafter by a fish that pukes up a man, and even a talking donkey! There is fire falling from heaven, great plagues, a magic fleece, and much, much more! These stories have it all: comedy, adventure, drama, romance, intrigue and jaw-dropping action. But these stories also have deeper and richer meanings than our foggy recollection of Sunday School often provides us with. They are not fanciful kids' stories, but rather grown up windows through which we catch a glimpse of the God who is far greater than the little box we've tried to squeeze Him into.
