Melody Lovell expected summer to be humdrum without her friends and parties to enjoy. Having a bothersome, little brother around was enough to ruin anyone's vacation. The one thing she looked forward to was delving deeper into her beloved music. Melody dreamed of meeting her favorite rock singer one day, but was astonished to discover the famous, Willy B. Bold, practically in her back yard, fishing. They shared a common bond and found they made beautiful music together. Melody experienced adventure, romance, and fun enough to last a lifetime, but not without her share of problems. Sometimes, it was a good thing, but not always. It all happened at her grandparent's quaint, out-of-the-way, lakeside resort in the heart of the Pennsylvania Mountains. Everything was going great until a foolish revelation started a sleuth of fans and reporters on Willy's trail. Since Melody was the cause of all the havoc on Valley View Mountain, she had to do something to help and fast. A little humor, patience, and quick action were necessary to save the day.
