In this action-packed mystery, set in 1881, Roland Mason- attorney at law in Laramie, Wyoming- tries to sort out his relationship with store owner Constance Sweeny, but the town is abuzz about a baseball game between a team from Colorado Springs and a newly formed team from Laramie.
