After the huge success of the first book published on the legends and folklore of Clayton CA, Byrd was approached to interview longtime residents of the small sleepy town. This book is a series of interviews with people who have seen the town grow over the past 25 years. Many residents share their childhood stories, as well as memories of what the town used to be like before the housing boom of the 2000's. All interviews were conducted by Byrd himself, with the exception of a couple of stories submitted by the Clayton Historical Society. An easy read and a wealth of historic knowledge lie between the covers.
