Carlos Fraticelli, as seen through the eyes of the grandson he never met is a partial memoir which begins with my childhood disinterest in family history, and moves from college student curiosity about my grandfather, to adult fascination with his poetry and family. My story frames how I came to learn about Carlos, piece together the puzzle of his complex life, many many years after his death. Readers with an interest in history, poetry, adventure, life struggles and family dynamics will find this story both engaging and revealing.
