Daniel's Place
This book is a collection of riddles by homeless youth and UCLA students in Santa Monica, California written during sessions led by Certified Applied Poetry Facilitator, India Radfar. Out of a range of subjects starting in the room itself (carpet, glass table, air, pen, books, therapy) and then moving from the room to the world at large (mountain biking, family, lawn, desert, river, fence) and further into the metaphysical (true identity, broken heart, unknown, death, living), comes a true illustration of the amazing statement by author Isaac Bashevis Singer: "The poet tried to solve the riddle of time and change, to find an answer to suffering, to reveal love in the very abyss of cruelty and injustice."
