According to his World War I Draft Registration Card, Thomas J. O'Hara was described as being of medium build and had brown hair and brown eyes. He was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois and worked as a salesman. O'Hara enlisted in the U. S. Army on Wednesday, 31 October 1917 at the age of 29 and was assigned to the 58th Aero Squadron (Air Service) which was renamed to the 470th Aero Construction Squadron. O'Hara served until the end of the war. O'Hara would continue to reside in Chicago where he married. Later, the O'Hara's relocated to St. Louis, Missouri. This then is the narrative of the life and times of Thomas J. O'Hara.
