Emily and Jacob were the perfect couple and very much in love. Jacob was the only one that knew that Emily came from a long line of very powerful witches. One winter a deadly virus swept through their small town killing many of the people in town. When Jacob came down with the deadly virus, Emily tried to save her husband from dying. Emily used a potion from her one of her ancestors spell book. Unknown to Emily she accidentally turned the love of her life into a creature of the night, a vampire. Jacob wasn't turn into just a vampire but a very powerful alpha vampire. To keep her family safe she had Jacob chained in his coffin until she could find a way to undo his curse. Over two hundred years Fred and Chad, who were looking for the lost family treasure, release Jacob from his coffin. Fred becomes Jacob's first victim in over two hundred years. Chad is forced to help Jacob at first and to guard him in his coffin during the daytime. Jacob and Chad becomes friend as they search for a cure for his curse and for answers to what happened to Jacob's one true love Emily.
