Hydrogen is an environmentally friendly alternative to fossil fuels, and they can be used to power just about any machine needing energy. The fuel cell, which is the energy conversion device that can capture and use the power of hydrogen effectively is the key to making this happen. The world has a golden opportunity to break our dependence on fossil fuels and chart a new path toward a clean energy future. Make no mistake, America must make large investments in energy efficiency, renewable energy, clean transportation technology and other clean energy strategies if we are going to wean ourselves off of fossil fuels and do our share to curtail global warming
