Although living in a small town in the USA, this well-traveled Englishman brings his unique world perspective to his writings. This work of selected poems by Michael Kahler include his views on life, politics and living in a small town. Michael first wrote poems for his family as part of a gift gifting tradition. He enjoyed it so much, he then expanded to the "daily news" outlining each day's events during the holiday. As a response to the 2016 election cycle, Michael wrote his rants. He continues to comment on current events through his prose and poetry which he often recites at open mike nights and publishes in The Lakeville Journal.
