A Tribute to Grace Marty a Cauley

Because of our shared love for the biblical doctrine and experience of grace, my father, a retired Southern Baptist pastor, asked me to speak at his funeral if he should die before the Lord returns. Accordingly, I wrote a Tribute to Grace as an overview of the intertwined transition both he and I made from Lordship Salvation theology to Free Grace theology. First of all, this book serves as a tribute to our Heavenly Father's grace. Secondly, it serves as a tribute to my earthly father's pursuit of grace, which resulted not only in his finding grace, but also his family, and, to various degrees, many within the churches he pastored as well. Yet, because this transition spanned many years, a genuine concern is raised in the book as to how much grace the members in his earlier pastorates may have embraced. Consequently, the goal of the book is to use this tribute to give others the essentials they may need to make this transition to Free Grace for themselves. The stakes are high. Truly, grace is liberating.
