I have played the guitar for more years than I can remember. I can play quite a wide variety of chords and, with most guitar music; I can sit down and play the chords shown on the music sheet and hum or sing along to the words while I strum. The downside of this is that I need to have the music in front of me if I want to play my guitar! When I decided to learn the Piano, I decided I did not want to be tied down to sheet music, I wanted to play by ear! I also did not want to be spending countless hours practicing my scales and practicing five finger exercises. I figured there has to be an easier way. I found the easier way!! It took me a little while to get there, but here it is. How would you like to be picking out the chords and melody lines of most of the pop songs and be doing that inside a couple of hours. There is no getting away from the fact that you will need to practice these very basic techniques. The more you practice, the quicker you will be at belting out the hits! Another thing I like about this system is that you wont be spending'countless hours practicing tunes like 'When the saints' or ''Frere Jaque'. your practise You will be playing whatever you want to play. I'll give you a chart showing the sixty most common Piano chords. With my technique, you'll probably only need six of them! If it sounds too good to be true, it isn't. It's easy and intuitive. More importantly, it's tremendous fun.
