The story is told from different view points. Lonnie was just a kid when the murder and kidnapping happened but he was instrumental in solving it years later. Holly was young and in love with someone older but would he wait for her and how much hurt would she face while trying to find out?Story Three - War and Romance - Devin loved her with all his heart but he couldn't stay even for the sake of the child. There was no way out for him. Faced with a life of sadness and disbelief he tried to find comfort in another only to face his reality in the end. The face of war chooses no boundaries. It touches and destroys even in love.
