Well of course, nobody could make you believe in fairies. So why would you. Surely they are just mythological creatures, aren't they? Perhaps for you there once was a time in your life when you did believe in them. Though chances are, as hard as you looked, you were just never able to catch even the briefest glimpse of one. Then over time, other people convinced you that you were just being silly. Yet more time slipped by, so then the thought of them just slowly drifted from your consciousness.
