Remembering PT-927 is the story of Jordan, an Oklahoma farm boy, conscripted and assigned to a PT-squadron in the Pacific. Aboard PT-927 he takes part in several hit and run harassing actions against the Japanese who are trying to ensconce themselves in the islands of the South Pacific. As the new man of the crew Jordan has a lot to learn and adjust to. On one of the sorties they are attacked by a Japanese plane and the boat is sunk, leaving Jordan as the sole survivor. He manages to make it to an island where he is marooned and struggles to survive. Forced to be a castaway, Robinson Crusoe of his time, changes him in profound ways, that affected his whole outlook on life and war.
