Containing a mixture of insight, inspiration, double-vision, and even utter blindness at some points, Iheanacho, has nevertheless contrived to take in a well-nigh boundless extent of field; at least, the boundaries that too often lie quite beyond our horizon. To the author's private circle the appearance of this singular work must have occasioned little less surprise than it has to the rest of the world. This work, read and again read, in several points becomes lucid and lucent; the personality of its author more and more surprising, but, in spite of all conjecture could do, more and more enigmatic. With prudent restriction, this experimental anthology follows the story of the different characters in their hopes to affirm their identity, when pressed into a faceless existence
