Every sixty seconds, someone in the United States develops Alzheimer's disease. Almost two-thirds of Americans with Alzheimer's are women. "Dear Mom..." tells the story of one of these women in a series of letters written to her by her daughter after her passing. She shares these letters in hopes it will help others in their struggles with this heartbreaking disease. There are many ways to research the stages and symptoms of Alzheimer's, but not always the emotional toll it takes on it's victims and their loved ones. This book is a gift to the memory of the author's beloved mother as well as the millions of others on the same journey. Fifteen percent of all proceeds from her story will be donated to the Alzheimer's Association in hopes of a cure.
