As they got older they realize that they were the only ones who had the ability to do this. Veronica is Black. Susan is White. they were best friends until Susan sudden death at the hands of the man she thought loved her. Even after death by some twist of fate they were still able to communicate with each other. Veronica thought she saw her friend in Chicago. She was surprised to see that she was home from New York. Little did Veronica know, her friend was dead and had been for two weeks when she saw her.
