What happened in the early morning hours of March 18, 1990? The authorities know that thieves disguised as police stole thirteen pieces of art with a combined value of $500 million, but what happened afterward? Not a single piece of the art has been recovered since that fateful day.



Mark McIntyre wants to change this. Not only does the heist appeal to his sense of drama and adventure, but the ex-polo player and art aficionado also wants the $20 million reward. He teams up with his ex-girlfriend, Mary; her husband, Nicolas; and a brilliant new acquaintance, Farouz, to solve the case.
