Hawthorne was found alone outside, on the back porch. Alice's parents found him, and they kept him as the family pet. Hawthorne was saved by his new family, and he wanted to return the favor when Hawthorne met Eagleton. Hawthorne and Eagleton had secrets no one knew about. Once the secrets were told, Hawthorne and Eagleton became best friends. Hawthorne found out Eagleton had a problem that he wanted his best friend to help him with. Hawthorne asked Eagleton to spend the night. Hawthorne made Eagleton think more than he ever had before. Eagleton learned a lot about himself with the company of his new best friend.
